There is nothing small about Diddy.When the rapper, 44, wanted to grab the attention of his longtime girlfriend Cassie Ventura, 27, he did so with a photo of a massive diamond engagement ring which he displayed on his Instagram account Saturday. The caption read, 'Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat you Like! I just wanna Mk you smile :) #takeDat. !' [sic]
But on Monday he denied this was a proposal. 'They are not engaged,' his rep told MailOnline exclusively.
Over the weekend the beauty was seen in a fur coat leaning on a car with Diddy as she flashed a big rock on her wedding finger, further fueling speculation she's engaged.
The entrepreneur has been seeing Cassie off and on since 2007.
They met in 2002 after he heard her song Me & U in a nightclub. By 2009 they collaborated on the song Must Be Love.
He was with Kim Porter on and off from 1994 to 2007. But he saw other people during that time as well.
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, has five children with three different women: Justin, Christian, Jessie, D'Lila and Chance.
In 1999 he started a headline-making romance with Jennifer Lopez, who he worked with on her music and also showed up to events with like the Grammys in 2000 where she wore that famous plunging-neckline Versace dress.
He's been linked to models Emma Heming (who is now married to Bruce Willis) as well as Naomi Campbell.
In October the star, who has also modeled for Adidas, told VibeVixen Diddy has motivated her.
'Just being around him is a completely inspiring experience,' she gushed.
'Starting my own empire would be great. I’m trying to figure that out. I’m still working with Cassie Enterprises right now but I think that would be something I would love to do.'
The beauty also talked about love.
'The key to maintaining any relationship—be it a romantic relationship or a friendship—is honesty and communication,' she said.
'I travel so much, host parties and I just signed a new deal with Skam Artist, who predominantly DJs in the same bookings that they do at different parties. It’s New York, Chicago, Vegas so I’m constantly going.'
On Sunday Diddy was seen with another looker: Ashanti.
The two stopped by a fast food restaurant in the Bronx and coincidentally they were both wearing fur coats. The cover girl captioned her snap, 'Great minds think alike.'
